Justin Niessen Born on May 30, 1990, in Willemstad, Curaçao is known as the founder of the New Caribbean Cuisine in the Netherlands. He is the first chef to elevate soul food to fine dining. Some of his dishes were captured in the cookbook with the apt title The New Caribbean Cuisine last year. In 2017, restaurant Just was named Best Newcomer of the Year by the leading restaurant platform De Buik. The year before, Justin Niessen made it to the finals of the TV program MasterChef.
